ASHI Whole House, (Home) Inspection

All whole house inspections are performed by a Certified ASHI Member inspector with an engineering trained eye for observation and detail. All whole house inspections cover a description and evaluation of the accessible & visible systems of a structure.

Buyer’s Inspection The Buyer’s Inspection is a Whole House Inspection to bring to light unknown, unforeseen and unwanted major concerns, (defects) & hazardous issues in the systems of the House you want to call HOME. You will also be made aware of minor items that may need yours or some professional’s maintenance attention to prevent minor concerns from becoming Major Concerns or safety hazards. Pre-Listing or Seller’s Inspection The Pre-Listing or Seller’s Inspection is a Whole House inspection that provides you, the seller, the knowledge and peace of mind that your property is priced to return to you the return on investment you expected from the time you purchased it. It will give you the facts you need to decide whether to expect the market rate or the top dollar you want for your investment buy. It discovers for you what to expect a “buyer’s inspection” to reveal, giving you the opportunity to make corrections on your terms or make them negotiable. New Construction Inspection The New Construction Inspection, done before you’re final walk through, is a Whole House Inspection that confirms all of the builder’s crews and sub-contractor’s crews have completed their jobs with the quality and attention to detail that you expected and that all of the systems work or will work when the need arises, that the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed, BEFORE YOU MOVE IN. New Construction, 11TH Month, Warranty Inspection If a problem has developed in your new house, you’ll find out about it before the warranty period runs out. The New Construction Warranty Inspection confirms that your builder put the quality time and craftsmanship into your house that he said he would and that you expected; while your builder will still stand behind it. PRE-Divorce Inspection If you want to keep the house, do YOU Know what you’re keeping? Roof & Foundation repairs can cost thousands, plumbing & electrical repairs can cost hundreds beside being hazardous. Insurance claim paid & NOT Used to make repairs, won’t be paid twice. Senior Home Safety Inspection More adult children live away from their parents, not realizing the condition of their parent’s home. You sent Home Health Care people to take care of the parents, food services people to take care of their nourishment, send a Senior Home Safety Network provider, i.e. BPI to take care of and let you know about the conditions of the property & home. This is a national program network of inspectors so that by calling the national office, inspections can be set up for homes across the country. Aging-In-Place Evaluation/Inspection Universal Design and Aging-In-Place techniques can be as helpful, safety conscious & unobtrusive for us when we’re fit in our 40’s as when we’re arthritic & aged. Many of our Seniors, many of us, want to stay in our homes longer but have physical limitations that make it difficult or impossible to reach and get to areas of the house or reach fixtures that were not a problem until…. BPI can provide suggestions & ideas for modifications that can be price shopped for work with multiple contractors or handyman businesses to again feel safe & secure in the home and make the whole home accessible & usable again. $150
Radon Inspection Radon inspections are done with femto-TECH’s premier Continuous Radon Monitors which take a real time measurement every hour of the radon level, temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity and have anti-tamper motion detectors to determine tampering with equipment during testing. Radon inspections for real estate decisions are done for a minimum of 48 hours after 12 contiguous hours of maintaining “closed house conditions”, (radon measurements can be done for up to 90 days for a “Short Term” test of radon levels). Test results can be read and printed on site. $100 When done with a BPI Whole-House Inspection; $130 on its own or thru another home inspection firm.
